Corning | A Day Made of Glass 2
Corning has released “A Day Made of Glass 2″, a follow up to the amazing original (see below). If this is the future of touch screen technology, I’m sticking around.
Move It Like Bernie
Pure talent.
I Love Gravy and the Biscuits
Yep, they’re lip synching. Who cares. I love everything about this band right now. Who doesn’t love gravy and biscuits?
Name: Gravy and the Biscuits
EP title: Soul Food
Instruments: Cardboard cut outs
Lead singer: Has long hair and is wearing fake wayfarers
Oh, the irony…
I wasn’t expecting much from this laundry list of clichés, but I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, having known nothing about this band before seeing their name, it was the gimmick that drew me in. The lead singer has an eerily smooth voice and a catchy flow. If Taylor Kitsch was a singer, he’d sound like this guy. The other guy can actually carry a tune and the other other guy keeps the rhythm steady. These guys are on their way.
Apparently they hail from Omaha but are currently students at Belmont University in Tennessee. Rumor has it, CUAB, is trying to get them to head down to the Carolinas this year.
I would be very interested in seeing them live. Has anyone seen them?
Steve Jobs: 1955 – 2011
I can’t even get into this right now. RIP Steve Jobs, there will never be another.

This is likely my favorite Steve Jobs moment. What an inspiration, what a visionary, what a loss.
Bonjour, Girl!
Priceless.
Lemonade Stand Shut Down
Shame.
Picture this. You’re 10 years old and you and two of your best friends want to take a trip to the local water park. Your parents tell you that you all need to save up money for admission. You don’t have a job, how are you going to make money? Ding, ding! The old-fashioned way; start a lemonade stand.
That’s a capital idea…as long as you don’t live in Georgia. Georgia police shut down a little girls’ lemonade stand for failure to produce business, peddler and food and beverage licenses.
This is recession is much more serious than I thought.
President Obama Reports: Osama bin Laden is Dead
Just in case you’ve been under a rock for the last 24 hours, Osama bin Laden is dead. His body is reportedly in US custody. The death of Osama bin Laden is said to have brought healing and closure for those affected by the events of September 11, 2001. Though this is being painted as a very happy occasion with celebrations breaking out nationwide, I wouldn’t take my guard down so quickly. We’re still playing in a volatile sandbox and there’s no telling what type of retaliation might take place.
On a much brighter note, I’m so happy that people have finally stopped talking about the Royal Wedding.
