Farrah Fawcett lost her three year battle with anal cancer this morning. She was 62.
The icon died at 9:28 this morning at Santa Monica, California’s St. John’s Hospital.
Her life-long partner Ryan O’Neal and best friend Alana Stewart were by her side.
The couple’s 24 year-old son Redmond could not be present as he is serving a sentence for drug charges.
Chris Brown will not serve jail time in connection to the February 8 assault of his one-time girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown plead guilty to one count of felony assault on Monday.
Brown will be formally sentenced on August 5, but his plea deal calls for 5 years of formal probation and 6 months (1,400 hours) of community service. This will include graffiti removal and roadside pickup in his native Virginia. This seemed fair for a first-time offender.
Though Brown’s guilty plea meant that Rihanna would not have to testify in court, she was still on standby to do so. After Brown exited the courtroom, Rihanna entered the courtroom and was addressed by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg who informed the singer that she had issued a two-way stay away order. The order requires Brown and Rihanna to stay at least 50 yards away from each other at all times except for when attending music industry events at which the distance is reduced to 10 yards.
Man, I secretly wanted CB to do some jail time and emerge from prison as a rapper with his own reality show. I guess that dream will never see light…

Why can’t Lauryn get it together? She has once again fallen off of the comeback trail before most people even knew she was on it. Ms. Hill has canceled 13 tour dates in Europe, including the headlining slot of the Stockholm Jazz Festival, due to health reasons. The staff is now scrambling to fill the void as they are expecting 30,000.
Lauryn just can’t get it together. We’re still waiting on her to release a sophomore album (I’ll excuse the mistake of a live album), but she’s so messed up in the head. I still blame Wyclef.

Usher has allegedly been having late night meetings in his Los Angeles hotel room for the last week with his “product manager.” Sources say that the woman is 42 year-old Grace Miguel, a Def Jam executive. This is odd because Usher isn’t signed to Def Jam. Is he planning to leave Arista?
On the marriage tip, insiders say that they are officially over and that Usher plans to file for separation in the coming days. Fortunately for Tameka, that won’t matter. She Federlined Usher just like Kevin got Britney and Kimora Lee got Russell (and Djimon). Those two babies (check and checkmate) will have her sitting in the lap of luxury for the rest of her life. SMH.
It sees that Wacko Jacko will never learn! As a request for his shows in Europe, Michael is now asking for a chorus of children to sing his songs with him on stage.
In a casting agent email obtained by London’s Daily Mirror, Jackson requests that the kids be between 5 and 13 and “exactly equal” numbers of black, white, mixed-race and Asian children. He also requests that the kids be sign language proficient.
Also requested for his 50 dates at London’s 02 Arena, a drum-line of “young adults, clean cut and of mixed ethnicity.”
Does he not understand that he needs to stay away from all situations involving children? Does this man not know that no one is comfortable with the idea of him and kids?

So we “know” that Lauren London is having Weezy’s baby, but apparently so is Nivea! And they’re allegedly getting married. That part is likely completely bogus. Y’all remember Nivea? Her smash hit “Don’t Mess With My Man” with the twins from Jagged Edge. She also used to be with The-Dream (who is now engaged to Christina Milian) and they have a child together. All of these people and all of these children. I can’t take it. We’re in a recession y’all, stop creating more mouths to feed!
